Myrtle Gail: Future Successful Filipina Cosplayer

I've cosplayed once, twice. I'm glad I met Myrtle during those conventions that I attended. We didn't had much talk, just few conversations online. She's nice. I love her pics. I don't have much apprehension about cosplay yet since I'm a noob, I'm considering myself getting an advice from her. Many cosplayers became famous. Alodia Gosienfiao and her sister Ashley Gosiengfiao, Jerry Polence, Monique Dimanlig and many more, this lady without a doubt, will be famous. She's pretty, yes, I have seen her personally, she's gorgeous and very cute. >.< I'm really lucky to have met her. She now has a fan page in facebook. Just check it out. I'm a fan since I saw her. She also belongs to a korean-inspired girl group called AEGYO SISTERS together with another upcoming-famous-cosplayer Ayumi Kassinique. I'm very fond of her pics lately. No doubt photographers are very fond of taking pictures of her. This beauty will be successful, that's sure enough, I'd be tuning on and update you guys about her and other cosplayers. ^^, ja ja ja neeee

UAE Teachers Beating Kids Despite Physical Abuse Being Banned Since 1998

"DUBAI - Teachers are still beating children in the United Arab Emirates despite a ban on corporal punishment, local daily The National reported on Sunday citing research by the Dubai School of Government.

The survey of public high school pupils found 45 percent of boys and almost 25 percent of girls reported being hit by their teacher, according to the newspaper.

The male pupils said this form of punishment was normal, while the females mostly said it had happened when they were at primary school, The National reported.

Physical punishment has been banned in state schools in the UAE since 1998, according to the newspaper.

Education authorities stressed the welfare of students was of the upmost importance and schools were obliged to provide them with a safe learning environment in to response to the study’s findings, The National reported.

"The expectation of schools is that all students are treated in a respectful manner where each student knows they are trusted, respected and safe,” the Abu Dhabi Education Council was quoted as saying in a statement."

Students are not in school to be beaten or physically abused. I think that discipline shouldn't be done this abominable way. Teachers, students, each has the equal rights, and that is to respect each other if not as a teacher or a student, at least as a person or human. No one has the rights to lay a finger on the student but their own families and relatives. Teachers are there to teach them about worldly things and knowledge. 

Facebook is going down on March 15

There has been a news circulating on the interwebz about facebook shutting down on March 15.

"PALO ALTO, CA –Mark Zuckerberg announced that Facebook will be shut down in March. Managing the site has become too stressful.

“Facebook has gotten out of control,” said Zuckerberg in a press conference outside his Palo Alto office, “and the stress of managing this company has ruined my life. I need to put an end to all the madness.”

Zuckerberg went on to explain that starting March 15th, users will no longer be able to access their Facebook accounts.

“After March 15th the whole website shuts down,” said Avrat Humarthi, Vice President of Technical Affairs at Facebook. “So if you ever want to see your pictures again, I recommend you take them off the internet. You won’t be able to get them back once Facebook goes out of business.”

Zuckerberg said that the decision to shut down Facebook was difficult, but that he does not think people will be upset.

“I personally don’t think it’s a big deal,” he said in a private phone interview. “And to be honest, I think it’s for the better. Without Facebook, people will have to go outside and make real friends. That’s always a good thing.”

Some Facebook users were furious upon hearing the shocking news.

“What am I going to do without Facebook?” said Denise Bradshaw, a high school student from Indiana. “My life revolves around it. I’m on Facebook at least 10 hours a day. Now what am I going to do with all that free time?”

However, parents across the country have been experiencing a long anticipated sense of relief.

“I’m glad the Facebook nightmare is over,” said Jon Guttari, a single parent from Detroit. “Now my teenager’s face won’t be glued to a computer screen all day. Maybe I can even have a conversation with her.”

Those in the financial circuit are criticizing Zuckerberg for walking away from a multibillion dollar franchise. Facebook is currently ranked as one of the wealthiest businesses in the world, with economists estimating its value at around 7.9 billion.

But Zuckerberg remains unruffled by these accusations. He says he will stand by his decision to give Facebook the axe.

“I don’t care about the money,” said Zuckerberg. “I just want my old life back.”

The Facebook Corporation suggests that users remove all of their personal information from the website before March 15th. After that date, all photos, notes, links, and videos will be permanently erased."

I gotta say that it's another fake troll story of weekly world news. People believed it. I am arsed to post this but why would Mark delete facebook when over 500 million the world's population use facebook? People should know that the reason "I don't care about the money." and "I want my old life back." was just a pussy reason for deleting something amazing. I do think that facebook has a great deal in Mark's life since he's the founder and many people had grown to like it. It's such a bogus huge drama of someone who's being pussy right now. It's amazing how the news traveled so fast. 

LACE (unfinished short novel)

"I've got lots to talk about with you.", Lucy almost whispered her last words in grief. Beads of perspiration formed on her forehead and she began to wipe them off with her laced-hankie. The weather was cold and there's nothing much to ponder about the streets. She gazed at nowhere then turned back to me.

"It's such a wonderful day isn't it?", i tried coping with her current mood but it never worked.

"It was he who did all of those."

"Sorry, what?", I almost felt the chill down my spine and it made my body numb. I feel like i'm talking to a senseless person and that i should run away instead and ignore her. 

"It's bothersome you know, that I'm making you uncomfortable today. I have to go. ", she put her hankie back in her pocket and started to walk towards the dimming horizon. 

It was such a creep seeing her like that. I did not like the feeling because I know there's something she's trying to say but can't. As if something's, no, someone's making her feel taken a back and deprived to do so. I wish i could just understand her. 

"what a senseless person. she's gone crazy.", i thought to myself. I headed back home.

There were series of arsons along my neighborhood but it did not bother me a bit. I believe that it's such a very little thing to be bothered of these days. I pulled the door open and sat on the couch for awhile. 

"What was it that i'm going to do?"

I grabbed some papers under the table in front of me. I have works to do but for some reason, my eyes closed and i fell asleep.

My eyes were half-open. The whole room is dark and there was a strange smell exuding from the kitchen. I felt hot, as if i'm burning. I tried to open them wide and i saw that smoke began to fill up the living room. I tried to calm myself but the image of fire embedded fear deep  inside my nerves. I was trying to decide which stuff should i save, or for good, just run away outside and be safe. I grabbed my bag and the paperworks. I headed out the burning house and into the crowd. The firemen were late. Not one bit was left from my house save the little bits of glass that were once windows of my little abode. I tried not to care when I saw the image of Lucy standing not too far from me but she approached me and patted my shoulder for sympathy. It's such a shame that I thought she's silly.

"I feel sorry for you Emily.", Lucy escorted me inside her house. "That you have to suffer like this. If i.."

"If i--what?"

"If i had the time to stop him."

"stop him from what?"

"from doing it.."

"doing what? i don't understand you.."

"him, you know him! It's Fred!"

I tried to stay calm for awhile. 

"But what made you disabled from doing so?"

"it was my son. He promised that he will give him back to me if i keep my mouth shut."

"for god's sake Lu! i don't really understand you!"

"I just need your help okay! There's nothing I can do about it!"

"The cops?"

"Fred has his neck. I can't do anything about it. If i tell them all about it, he would kill him."

"I see. But what now?"

"He's got eyes. I don't know. My god don't ask me that!"

she has gone totally insane. Her shoulders began to shrug as she cried her life out.
